City Connection has announced an HD remake of Irem’s cult-classic 1993 arcade beat 'em up, Yakyuu Kakutou League Man (Ninja Baseball Bat Man). Titled Ninja Baseball League Man Bases Loaded in English, the updated classic is set to launch on December 10 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The game tasks up to four local players with taking control of baseball-themed heroes to retrieve a stolen golden statue from the Baseball Hall of Fame. Alongside the arcade-faithful "Regular Season" mode, this enhanced version introduces a high-difficulty "Climax Season" mode featuring new stages and altered enemy layouts. The remake expands on the original by making the former support character Pink fully playable, adding new mini-games, and featuring freshly arranged tracks composed by Yosuke Yasui.

Physical pre-orders for the Switch 2 and PS5 versions are now open. First-print physical editions will include a collector's bundle featuring an arranged soundtrack CD and a special fan book filled with rare archival production materials from the original 1993 arcade release.
