Six months after its official announcement, the hololive Dreams mobile game has confirmed a July 23 release date. What's more, the title will be coming to the Steam storefront.
The information was revealed in a special livestream on July 3 featuring virtual talents Tokino Sora, Usada Pekora, Himemori Luna and Omaru Polka. While pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play has been open since March, the game is available to wishlist on Steam now. In addition, an offline event to celebrate nine years since the start of hololive was announced for October.
Out of everything, the fact that hololive Dreams will be releasing on Steam seems significant. Part of the reason why the English version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby saw such massive success was because it was available on the platform, as opposed to just mobile devices. That being said, it remains to be seen just how the rhythm game portion of the title will be played on PC.
