Kotobukiya has announced a new addition to its model kit lineup with the reveal of Frame Artist Snow Miku. Scheduled for an August 2026 release with a price tag of 7,700 yen, this kit represents a robotic evolution of the popular virtual singer.
The design is a collaborative effort between renowned illustrators Humikane Shimada and Takayuki Yanase. While previous iterations focused on the “Frame Music Girl” aesthetic, this “Frame Artist” version leans into a sleek mechanical form while retaining Miku's signature silhouette.

The kit is designed for accessibility and customization. It features a multi-color molding process that looks great without paint and includes interchangeable face plates and hair parts. For veteran builders, the model is fully compatible with Kotobukiya's extensive ecosystem of M.S.G and Frame Arms parts, allowing for near-limitless personalization.
Pre-orders are open now on the official Kotobukiya Shop and include an exclusive face part without printed features.
