
Death Note The Musical has marked the conclusion of its its 10th anniversary production with the announcement of a limited-time streaming release following the show’s final performance in Okayama on January 25.
Two filmed versions of the Tokyo run for the production will be made available online, each featuring a different actor in the role of Light Yagami. One performance stars Seishiro Kato, while the other features Aoi Watanabe. Streaming tickets are available for purchase until February 19 at 8:30 p.m., priced at 5,500 yen each including tax, with a discounted set ticket offered for viewers who want access to both versions. During the streaming period, the performances can be watched multiple times.

Based on the manga DEATH NOTE by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the musical is directed by Tamiya Kuriyama with music by Frank Wildhorn. The anniversary cast also includes Hiroki Miura as L, Riho Sayashi as Misa Amane, and Kiyotaka Imai as Soichiro Yagami. Original cast members Kenji Urai and Megumi Hamada have returned to reprise their roles as the Shinigami Ryuk and Rem.
Streaming will be conducted via ticket platform PIA's Live Stream service. As such, a valid PIA account is required to purchase access and view the stream. Tickets are on sale now.
