Bandai Namco just gave Wagyan Land fans a nice little surprise. On February 9, 2026, the company released the original soundtracks from the classic action game series through its Bandai Namco Game Music label.

The timing isn’t random, either. February 9 marks the anniversary of the original Wagyan Land’s release on the Famicom back in 1989, making it a meaningful day for longtime fans. To celebrate, Bandai Namco rolled out music from eight different titles, including the very first game.

The collection features plenty of familiar favorites, from the upbeat, samba-style stage themes to the fun boss battle tracks tied to word and memory challenges. If you grew up with Wagyan Land or just love retro game music, this release is a great excuse to revisit some classic video game tunes.
