Shueisha has ordered an unprecedented additional print run for the September issue of Jump SQ due to overwhelming demand.
This month's edition of the magazine just so happens to contain the final chapter of Takeshi Konomi's The New Prince of Tennis as well as a special CD featuring 143 voice actors who have been involved with the series over the years. Speaking via X, Konomi noted that this was Jump SQ's very first additional print run since the magazine begin in 2007.

Less than 24 hours later, the editorial department also announced that a special set of four Prince of Tennis trading cards would no longer be included at random in the October issue as initially advertised. They will instead come attached to issues one at a time from the October issue onwards, meaning that fans should be able to get their hands on a complete set a lot easier.
At first glance, this situation appears to share several similarities to the recent fiasco with the One Piece 29th anniversary issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Even so, adequate care should be taken not to understate the massive popularity of Konomi's series, as well as the excitement surrounding the special CD.
