While McDonald's Japan has been teasing a potential collaboration with SQUARE ENIX's legendary DRAGON QUEST series for the better part of the past week, we finally got to see just what both companies have been cooking up earlier today.
Set to begin sale from January 7, 2026, the collaboration brings three new burger combinations to the table – the slightly mimic-looking "Zaku-giri Potato & Niku-atsu Beef yamitsuki consome pepper-mayo," the "Hot Chili & Tartar Chicken," and the "Cheese Double Teriyaki." To celebrate, McDonald's Japan shared a DRAGON QUEST-filled announcement below:

As part of the collaboration, McDonald's Japan has also released a set of Slime toys featuring designs based on Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburgler, sold in a set of five alongside original Slime and Metal Slime designs. These are being sold for 2,990 JPY and are available now.
