The anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's Kagurabachi will embark on a world tour starting this July. Beginning in Los Angeles and ending in New York, the first twenty minutes of episode 1 will premiere at four events around the globe.
Before the first chapter ever dropped, Kagurabachi was the target of intense attention from overseas. This initially took the form of ridicule and parody, but has since turned into genuine appreciation as the story proved that it was more than just a simple genre piece. In turn, the decision to take the anime around the world reflects the global focus of the adaptation, spearheaded by Shochiku and CyberAgent.
