The upcoming November issue of Gundam Ace will no longer come with a promotional card for the Gundam Trading Card Game as reselling continues to act as a thorn in the side of Japanese publishers.
In a statement posted to X, the magazine explained that the decision was taken in order to "deliver the promo card fairly" to all readers. Other methods of distribution and sale are currently being considered, with the September and October back issues eventually getting the same treatment. The September issue went on sale July 24, while the October issue comes out today.

日頃よりガンダムエースをご愛読いただき、誠にありがとうございます。…
According to reports from several users on social media, the September issue was already hard to find in stores and the October issue will no doubt have the same problems. The earthquake in Kumamoto on July 28 has caused widespread disruption across the Kyushu region, but reselling has affected publishing across the entire country. Given the recent changes to V Jump, it seems inevitable that the old special gift model is on the out.
