The Our Feel josei manga website has opened submissions for its first newcomer prize, inviting amateur artists to submit their work to a committee stacked with several famous faces.
Launched in June 2024 as a sister website to the long-running monthly magazine Feel Young, Our Feel boasts an impressive line-up of series aimed at young women. These include Tabun Koko Kara Hajimaru Koi by Yoko Nemu, Futsu no Onna no Ko by Mamoru Kurai, as well as Tatsumaki by Tomoko Yamashita. What's more, the site's image character was created by Yama Wayama, one of the most popular josei artists in the space right now.

In order to cultivate the next generation of talent and boost the already impressive line-up, Our Feel is now accepting submissions from new artists in three different "seasons". Season one will run from June 4 to September 30, season 2 from October 1 to December 13, and season 3 from January 1 to March 31 next year. While they're asking for original works not based on other properties, there are no restrictions on genre, letting the imagination of young artists run wild.
As for who will be judging these submissions and deciding the winners of each season, it's a star-studded cast. None other than Moyoco Anno will kick things off in season one: perhaps the most decorated josei manga artist of all time. Season two, meanwhile, is tasked to Yama Wayama. Finally, Tomoko Yamashita will bring the prize to a close in season three as one of Our Feel's leading new talents.
Moreover, Our Feel is celebrating its second anniversary with five special projects, including two new serializations and columns from featured manga artist introducing their favorite things. Check out the official website for more information.
