Japanese girl group kiOra has been officially announced as part of the lineup for the Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival Los Angeles 2026. Organized by 88rising, the premier global festival for Asian artists will take place on August 8 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The four-member group—composed of OTO, KYLA, RUKA, and YU—joins a stacked festival roster that features major acts like XG, KATSEYE, Rich Brian, UMI, and Warren Hue. The invitation marks a significant international milestone for the group ahead of their official debut later this summer.
The group first introduced itself to audiences on March 28 at the Head in the Clouds festival in Tokyo, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, where their name was officially unveiled on stage.

Even before their formal debut, kiOra is rapidly building momentum across the global entertainment landscape. In addition to their upcoming Los Angeles appearance, the group will serve as the opening act for the Central Music & Entertainment Festival 2026 in Kuala Lumpur on August 1, sharing the bill with established Japanese acts like KANA-BOON, Kitani Tatsuya, jo0ji, and ReoNa. Domestic performances are also scheduled for the NYLON JAPAN 22nd Anniversary Party and as the opening act for Tokyo Girls Collection in Niigata on July 18.
In a joint statement regarding their busy pre-debut schedule, the members expressed both excitement and gratitude:
"We are incredibly grateful to have received so many opportunities even before our official debut. We are nervous, but also excited to see how brightly we can shine on these dream stages around the world. We will continue preparing carefully and do our best for each performance."
