Sapporo Breweries announced today a collaborative project with Hirohiko Araki that will see illustrations from the famed mangaka on the cans of Yebisu Beer starting February 12, 2025. The illustrations in question are a throwback to Yebisu's Meiji era advertising, which have long been considering iconic examples of classic advertising in the country. Through many campaigns, posters featuring beautiful paintings of women in casual situations with Yebisu products, the new limited edition cans feature the same motif using Araki's illustrations all the way down to using the classic Yebisu lettering in katakana.
