Hatsune Miku returns to the world of Gunpla, this time with a custom RX-78-2 RG kit, as announced by Bandai over the weekend. The kit, aptly titled “RG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0 [Hatsune Miku Ver.],” will be made available alongside a rerelease of the previously released “RG 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Ver.]” in May 2026.

Priced at 4,290 JPY and made available exclusively via lottery, the model kit will be sold on Premium Bandai's official website. Utilzing Hatsune Miku's iconic colorway, as well as several decals, this is about as close as you can get to truly bringing the iconic characters together.
