Japanese chain electronics store GEO has today announced that they are stepping into the retro game market, with 97 of their stores nationwide to begin selling and purchasing classic titles from February 16, 2026. Stores are set to offer both games and hardware, with each store set to have a revolving inventory of roughly 300-400 items at any given time.
While this might just sound like another electronics giant jumping on the retro game craze, GEO has long been a bastion of affordability across both new and used electronics and games, so it will be interesting to see what sort of competitive pricing they bring to the fold with this latest push.
