The Saudi Arabian entertainment and investment group Qiddiya will fund a million Euro theme park outside of Paris based on Dragon Ball.
According to Reuters, the idea came about when French President Emmanuel Macron discovered that the Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman shared his enthusiasm for Akira Toriyama's series during a state visit in 2025. Speaking via X, Macron noted that the project will create 22,000 jobs on a scale not seen since the opening of Disneyland Paris in 1992.
