Orb: On the Movement of the Earth and 100 Meters creator Uoto has announced three new projects, including his first book. A new exhibition to celebrate ten years since the creator first debuted will also take place this year.

In a series of posts over the course of three days from September 11, Uoto detailed his upcoming series. The first is called Hallucinationmeat and will launch in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits sometime this year. The second, titled Test Taker Cheaters, will launch in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon early next year with art by Takuzo Kome. Finally, a book written entirely by Uoto called Anti-Serialization Hypothesis will release via Shodensha in December.

While the flurry of announcements certainly might seem overwhelming, its not exactly unusual for manga creators to tackle a weekly series and a monthly series at the same time. Sharing art duties with Kome should also help to reduce the workload somewhat. The most exciting reveal might be that book, as it will mark Uoto's first foray into literature.

September 15 then capped off the excitement with the news that Uoto would be getting his first exhibition to mark ten years since his debut as a manga creator. Focusing mainly on Orb, 100 Meters, and Welcome to FACT!, it will take place at the Yurakucho Museum from December 2026 to February 2027.
