Studio Pierrot is bringing its classic magical girl lineup back into the spotlight with a series of Blu-ray box set releases planned in Japan throughout the year. The releases celebrate the launch of a new entry in the long-running Pierrot Magical Girl Series, Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly which begins in April 2026.
Leading the rollout is Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel, the franchise’s first title from 1983, which arrives on Blu-ray on April 29. The set features newly illustrated packaging by character designer Akemi Takada, additional artwork from Studio Pierrot, a booklet, digital illustration gallery, and several original OVA episodes.

More titles will follow over the coming months, with Persia, the Magic Fairy releasing on June 24, Magical Emi, the Magic Star on August 26, and Pastel Yumi, the Magic Idol on October 28. These later sets will feature new box art by Yoshiyuki Kishi and include booklets and bonus discs.
