It's been years since Kenshi Yonezu has dusted off the HACHI name for a project, so imagine our surprise when a new music video for his classic track "DONUT HOLE" arrived today. The video is a fantastic animated affair with a plot that sees GUMI, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and Kagamine Rin rebelling against a local city beautification project that threatens their way of life. The crew looks amazing in their re-imagined designs (by Yonezu himself), and the animation is expertly done with Production I.G. leading the charge.

The video release has been done in collaboration with the chocolatier GODIVA, who is offering a limited edition series of chocolates featuring the characters at their stores in Japan.
