Techno-pop icons Perfume will release a new album on December 23 titled Favorites (Selected by Perfume) / Cold Sleep. Prepared prior to entering their hiatus at the end of 2025, the multi-disc compilation features curated tracks chosen personally by members A-chan, Kashiyuka, and Nocchi.
The collection split across three distinct parts titled "Side A," "Side K," and "Side N" draws from the trio's extensive discography spanning two decades of major releases. Each disc represents a distinct personal setlist curated by a specific member. Detailed track listings and physical packaging specs remain under wraps for a future announcement.
The release announcement comes today on a symbolic date marking the trio's major debut anniversary alongside the exact day they revealed their "cold sleep" status to fans a year earlier. Following a major career retrospective that saw the release of their two-part Nebula Romance soundtrack album project and a final pair of Tokyo Dome shows, Perfume capped off 2025 with an appearance on NHK's annual Kohaku Uta Gassen before pausing activities. This upcoming release offers fans a rare personal look into how each member views the group's musical legacy.
