Weekly Young Jump has launched a new manga award to celebrate the magazine's 48th anniversary with over 37 artists involved in the final selection.

The judging committee includes such famous names as Yasuhisa Hara (Kingdom), Satoru Noda (Golden Kamuy), and Aka Akasaka (Oshi no Ko). Joining them are eleven members of the Young Jump editorial team, including the editor-in-chief, to make a massive line-up of 48 people.

Entries are being accepted now until February 28 with no limits place on genre, length, nor the age or nationality of authors. Winners will receive an invitation to a special gathering with all 37 artists in attendance alongside a grand prize of two million yen (about 12,500 USD).
