Nakano-based clothing brand THUNDERBOX have opened up pre-orders for a new deluxe stadium jacket in collaboration with resale shop chain HARD-OFF. The new stadium jacket comes in three colorways, black/white, black/black, and blue/black, with chenille embellishments featuring the HARD-OFF logo and their iconic blue “junk” boxes. The whole package is tied up with the tagline "Reuse Goes Hard", which is a play on the brand's “Box Goes Mad” tagline in honor of the collab itself.
To celebrate the new collab, THUNDERBOX has also tapped rapper MCU (Kick The Can Crew) and talent Haruna Sakamoto (Team Shachi) to model the new jacket inside of the iconic Kichijoji HARD-OFF Tokyo Labo location.

The jacket itself is a limited pre-order item, with pre-orders currently open at the brand's Nazo no Mise flagship shop in Nakano as well as their online shop. Priced at ¥65,000, these jackets are being made-to-order, meaning this may be your only chance to snag one.
This isn't THUNDERBOX's first brush with HARD-OFF. Their previous HARD-OFF collaboration spawned popular miniature versions of the blue “junk” boxes (which are still available for purchase) as well as a number of other items including shirts and hats. Retro pop-culture as well as “digging” culture is a core tenet of the brand, and something their fans resonate with so teaming up with HARD-OFF was a no-brainer.
Pre-orders for this new collaboration will be open until October 11, 2026 with production happening following the final order date. Nazo no Mise will be closing at the beginning of November to relocate to a new, larger space at the beginning of January 2027 as well so if you're in the greater Tokyo area this would be a perfect excuse to visit the current shop one last time.
