At the beginning of the music video for Hoshimachi Suisei's latest single 'Hoshi wo Miru Shoujo (The Stargazing Girl)', the blue-haired virtual singer is shown waiting for a train to go to the airport. Somewhat hilariously, it took train fans no time at all to figure out exactly where this footage was taken, in addition to what time and date.
X user Izumicha collated the findings of the train community in a post from June 30, just six hours after the video premiered. By cross referencing the footage with various train timetables, they were able to deduce that it was taken at 6:25 AM on March 26, 2026 on the Keisei Line platform at Edogawa Station in Tokyo. What's more, the design of the front carriage was shown to have been digitally altered, presumably to avoid copyright infringement.
Of course, the point of this music video isn't necessarily the location specifics of no less than four seconds of footage, but it's an impressive achievement nonetheless. Suisei already transformed the elevated walkway on the west side of Shibuya Station into a pilgrimage spot with the music video for BIBBIDIBA, so it seems as if fans have another otherwise mundane location to add to their collection.
