Earlier today, Good Smile Company announced the third release in their newly-developed BRICKROID series of figures, this time teaming up with Go Nagai's legendary Mazinger Z. The new series, composed of several unique figures, is the largest drop since the launch of BRICKROID as a series.

Set to release in July 2026, pre-orders are now open for the Mazinger Z lineup, costing roughly 1,800 JPY per unit, with set pieces costing upwards of 3,700 JPY. The full lineup includes both Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger, the Great General of Darkness, the Great Marshall of Hell, the Mechanical Beasts, and another Go Nagai property with the appearance of Steel Jeeg.

For those unfamiliar with the series, BRICKROID takes existing IP and converts them into 5cm tall mini-figures, with holes in their feet compatible with most "generic brick toys" – i.e., Lego. To-date, the series has collaborated with the likes of Evangelion and TETSUJIN28, with this all-new Mazinger Z collaboration feeling right at home.
