End of an era for now: The iconic rap duo chelmico has announced they are going on an indefinite hiatus starting this March.

Rachel and Mamiko shared the news on social media and called it a recharging period. Both members plan to dive into their solo work. Mamiko wants to take things slow and focus on her health after some struggles last year, while Rachel is determined to use this time to power up so they can eventually come back stronger.

The duo has been a staple in the scene since 2014. In that time they've given us 5 full-length albums, seeing global attention jump with Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! opening “Easy Breezy.” They are calling this the end of Season 1, so even though they are stepping away for a bit, it is not a final goodbye.
