
Japanese publisher Edia has announced Psikyo Memories, a new arcade game collection bringing 12 classic shoot 'em ups from legendary developer Psikyo to Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on February 18, 2027. Pre-orders for the title opened in Japan today, October 5, 2026.
The lineup covers a heavy stack of 90s and early 2000s arcade hits, including fan favorites across several iconic franchises:
Strikers Series: Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, and Strikers 1999
Sengoku Series: Sengoku Ace, Sengoku Blade, and Sengoku Cannon
Gunbird Series: Gunbird, Gunbird 2, and spinoff Gunbarich
Fantasy & Sci-Fi Shmups: Sol Divide, Dragon Blaze, and Zero Gunner 2
Beyond the gameplay, Psikyo Memories doubles as a digital library, featuring a gallery mode packed with historical promotional materials and design documents from Psikyo's heyday.

The game will launch in both standard and special physical editions in Japan. The standard version is priced at ¥7,480, while the ¥16,280 Special Edition bundled set includes an art booklet, a desktop calendar, and a 12-piece dog tag collection representing the titles in the release.
