Amusement Expo 2026 starts today at Tokyo Big Sight and Konami is kicking things off with a surprise announcement. Debuting at their booth during Amusement Expo is the next update for pop'n music, titled pop'n music Happy 30.
While they didn't reveal any details for the title alongside the announcement, fans of the series will be very pleased to see a new version announced as it's been about a year since pop'n music High Cheers! and the new “Pika Pika pop-kun” cabinet style were released in Japan. No additional location testing has been announced yet, but we'll keep an eye out in case something pops up after this weekend.
In addition to pop'n music, Konami is also showing off their new jubeat cabinet revision with the recently announced new version jubeat U'nit alongside updated GITADORA GALAXY WAVE DELTA “arena model” cabinets featuring 4K, 120fps monitors.
