Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold is launching on February 23, with early access beginning four days before.
A concrete release date for the MMORPG's latest expansion was finally revealed at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival over the weekend alongside other tidbits. This includes a new DPS job, new areas to explore, as well as new details on the collaboration raids with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Final Fantasy VII Remake. That latter raid will also introduce a new difficulty level known as Fierce.

Perhaps one of the most controversial announcements, however, was the fact that Alliance Raids would now be split into two halves. Users have already noted that this essentially removes the unique aspect of these experiences and essentially doubles queue time. Just how Square Enix will respond remains to be seen.
