Comic Cmoa has confirmed that the personal data of up to 4.2 million users was lost during a recent server breach.
In a statement from October 21, Japan's biggest manga site revealed that system log files including email addresses, nicknames, date of birth, and gender information were lost during the attack. That being said, it was quick to reassure users that passwords have not been compromised, with only 319 having such information leaked in an encrypted format as part of an internal database.
