Comic Cmoa, Japan's biggest manga site, has restored partial service following a security breach affecting up to 4.2 million users.
In a statement provided on October 29, the site confirmed that users should now be able to view their purchased e-book titles and access the proprietary subscription service on a web browser. Offline downloads are still not currently possible to the mobile app. A password reset is required before logging in.

Responding to numerous bug reports, Cmoa recommended that users clear their browser cache and cookies before logging in. Access using a VPN or from an IP outside of Japan is also currently restricted, with no word on when this will be addressed.
