Tokusatsu legend and voice actor Hiroshi Tsuchida passed away on October 11 due to heart failure. He was 54.

81 Produce, Tsuchida's talent agency, confirmed the sad news via its website on October 20. A funeral has already been held among close friends and family. The actor's credits include Grisha Yeager in Attack on Titan, Kapoty in One Piece, and Raido Namiashi in Naruto.

Most famously, Tsuchida made his debut in 1995 as Saizou in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. One of his scenes became an internet meme some thirty years later with his reaction to the infamous line "Today is Friday in California".
