Japanese singer-songwriters Vaundy and yama are being tapped as the theme song artists for the upcoming TV anime Daemons of the Shadow Realm from Studio BONES, which is set to premiere on April 4 at 23:30 in Japan.

Vaundy will perform the opening theme, “Tobu Toki,” while yama will sing the ending theme, “Tobouyo.” Both songs were written, composed, and arranged by Vaundy, who explained that the music centers on the concept of “departure,” reflecting the emotional journey of the story’s twin protagonists. A promotional video featuring both theme songs has also been released online.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm is based on the manga by Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa and blends fantasy, mystery, and action. The anime is scheduled to run for two consecutive cours when it kicks off in early April.
