A new event by the name of X VORDER RUNWAY is set to take place on September 27, bringing together a myriad of artists both real and virtual for a "fashion show meets music" experience.

Produced by Award Inc., the participants include the likes of Utaha from Wednesday Campanella and Akari Nanawo alongside KAF, Himehina and Hoshimachi Suisei. Game characters such as Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4, Chun-Li (Street Fighter) and Haruka Amami (The Idolmaster) will also make an appearance. Mika Pikazo is credited with fashion design and illustration.

Given the large number of guests, they are being split into several different stage blocks throughout the event. For example, 'SWAY' sees KAF perform with Hoshimachi Suisei in a collaboration named after their original song, while Rise Kujikawa and Sara Hoshikama from NIJISANJI are set to team up for 'True Story -Revival-'. In addition to live performances, a fashion runway element is also heavily emphasized, with all of the performers receiving exclusive new outfits created by Mika Pikazo.

As a company, Award Inc. have been involved with similar events over the years, namely the Rakuten GirlsAward that takes place biannually. This track record should offer some reassurances that this won't end up like X-CON from 2023, but the lineup is certainly enough to turn some heads.
