Shiba Inu Rooms by Esu Omori is getting an anime adaptation next year, with Mutsumi Tamura (Naruto, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid) starring as Mu.

The announcement trailer offered a first look at Tamura's performance alongside Niina Nakabayashi as Kori Momose. A cryptic illustration was posted days before the big reveal that turned out to be a pretty obvious hint. Osamu Yamasaki (Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE Part 2) is directing the series over at TMS Entertainment.

In celebration of the adaptation, seven malls across the country will have their kids' corners decked out with a Shiba Inu Rooms-themed design. More details to follow.
