Fullmetal Alchemist and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, both originally created by Hiromu Arakawa, will head to Universal Studios Japan in 2027.
The two anime series form part of the Cool Japan line-up for next year alongside Sailor Moon, The Apothecary Diaries, and Detective Conan. It is actually the second time that Fullmetal Alchemist has appeared at the park, with a premium tour happening in 2025. For Daemons of the Shadow Realm, this is the first major tie-up since the recent adaptation by Studio Bones.

While no details are available on how either series will be used at the park, the announcement post promises an "overwhelmingly real experience." Previous collaborations as part of Cool Japan have taken all sorts of forms, from escape rooms to VR rollercoasters.
