A BATHING APE, better known to many as BAPE, has been a mainstay of street fashion since its founding in 1993. The brand came to prominence through its association with hip-hop and one of its most iconic silhouettes to this day is that of the full-zip SHARK HOODIE. This iconic fashion piece is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and to celebrate the brand is not only holding a special popup at Shibuya's Miyashita Park shopping complex but also releasing a new shoe, the SHARK STA.
Although the brand itself hasn't been entirely the same since it was acquired by a holding company back in 2011, it still has a ton of die-hard fans who love its classic designs.
