
Ado is embracing her monstrous side for the live action adaptation of Blue Lock. Her new song, titled 'Monstruo', will be the theme for the movie when it hits theaters in Japan on August 7.
Based on the incredibly popular Weekly Shonen Magazine manga series with story by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and art by Yusuke Nomura, the live action film already boasts a star-studded cast. This includes Fumiya Takahashi (Kingdom, Kokuho) as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, Kaiyo Sakurai (Oshi no Ko, VIVANT) as Meguru Bachira, and K from the &TEAM idol group as Seishiro Nagi. As if that wasn't enough, now the movie has recruited one of the most popular Japanese artists in the world right now.

In her comment, Ado explained that "Monstruo means 'monster' in Spanish. It's a perfect song for the movie as it really conjures up images of awakening your inner monster and diving headfirst into the fray." A new version of her artist image was released in collaboration with the Blue Lock movie, which you can see in the header.
Moreover, Giga and TeddyLoid have teamed up once again produce the song. This is the third time they've done so for Ado since 'Odo' and 'Show' in 2021 and 2023 respectively. ryo from supercell also handled the lyrics, making this into something of a stacked list of credits.
